CCJ Registry staff are currently attending a Workshop on Legal and Legislative Drafting in Arusha, Tanzania organised by the East Africa Law Society Institute. The 4-day Workshop aims to (put some of the points in the aim of the training). 

The training will equip Registry staff with the necessary skills to enable them to competently draft legal instruments before they are submitted to the COMESA Legislative Drafting Sub-Committee which reviews all COMESA legal instruments before they are submitted to the Ministers of Justice and Attorneys General through the Committee on Legal Affairs. 

It is intended that all CCJ staff involved in the review or development of draft rules undergo this training.
